The Israel United Appeal channels its funds to Keren Hayesod, the central fundraising body for the Jewish Agency for Israel. Through Keren Hayesod, Diaspora Jewry plays a role in determining the future of Israel and participates in building the foundations upon which the Jewish state will rest. With organisations all around the world, running fundraising campaigns, we endeavour to support the Jewish people and the Jewish State, thus ensuring the continuity and unity of our people. Nothing is more important, because in helping to build Israel, we are building ourselves.

Emergency Campaign /
Victims of Violence
The Victims of Violence Fund has been established as an emergency campaign in reaction to the current situation in Israel. Israelis are fighting to protect their homes and to safeguard the future and the existence of the State of Israel. Hundreds of Jews have been killed since the start of the Palestinian intifada, even more have been injured and the numbers continue to increase. The continuing intifada, has devastated the Israeli economy.
Millions of dollars are needed for emergency medical equipment and supplies. Keren Hayesod has been called upon to mobilize the support of World Jewry. This Victims of Violence Fund will make money available to ease the enormous difficulties faced by these innocent victims, our fellow Jews, the people of Israel.
