What is Network?

Network is the Young Adults Campaign of the Israel United Appeal – United Communal Fund. It consists of members of the Jewish community between the ages of 23 and 40

The aim of Network is to:
  • Raise funds, through its members' contributions to the IUA–UCF.
  • Educate its members about the workings' of the community and the Jewish Agency.
  • Organise events that are topical, educational and enjoyable.
  • Enable upcoming professionals to realise their responsibility within community structures.
  • Provide its members with a forum through which they can interact and deal with issues prevalent to them.
How do we achieve our aims?
  • We are always mindful of our fundraising responsibilities to the IUA–UCF. In this regard, we have attempted to involve ourselves in canvassing as much as possible.
  • After a function we always canvass participants who attended the event.
  • We vary our functions as much as possible in order to appeal to an aspirate audience. These functions include Business Breakfasts, Movie Premieres, Golf Days, Comedy evenings, Parlour Room sessions with various speakers, Parties etc.
  • We have also run specific fundraising campaigns such as our e–mail appeals and various telethons that we drive throughout the year.
Network has a committee of volunteers who work with the professional staff to enhance the campaign and to provide for a leadership development for the organisation.
